Music is truly valued and loved at Mere Brow CE Primary School. Every child from year 2 learns to play a variety of instruments (glockenspiel / recorder / brass) and engage in ensemble lessons weekly. Hymns are sung as a whole school and each year our Hedgehogs are proud to perform a Nativity and our Year 2 to Year 6 children perform an end-of-year production. We have designed our own curriculum using Charanga to engage all our children. In year 5 and 6, children are taught in a brass ensemble by the Lancashire Music Service.
