Welcome from the Eco Team

Hello and welcome to our ECO team page. This year we have really been focusing on improving our gardens and creating a recycled garden out of tyres. 

So far we have:

• Asked for donations and kindly been given these by Tarleton Tyres.
• Used some of our own compost in the tyres.
• Planted out fruits and vegetables (some from seed).
• Watered and looked after our plants.
• Painted the shed.
• Added garden decorations.

The Eco-Team

Welcome to our Eco Schools page! We have been quite busy the past few months working on our action plan to make our school more eco friendly.

Years 4-6 have really been getting a 'rubbish' education; understanding how to reduce, reuse and recycle with Global Renewables. 

We are scheduling 'No-Tech' and 'No-Paper' days, more news when we have tried these out!

We have created a new Eco-Code for our school:

Make our world a better place.

Everyone involved in a school council.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Eating healthy, living healthy.

Bins to compost our waste.

Reducing our litter, reusing scrap paper.

Only use what you need.

Walk to school days.

Eating healthy meals and snacks.

Collecting batteries, cartridges and newspapers.

Ownership of our environment.

Check lights are off.

Only print or copy what you need.

Dry your hands with one paper towel.
